Risk Disclosure
Effective 7 October 2026 · version 2026-10-07
Please read this disclosure before connecting a trading account. It describes the main risks of leveraged and automated trading.
1. High risk of loss
Trading contracts for difference (CFDs) and other leveraged products on gold (XAUUSD), stock indices, currencies and cryptocurrencies is highly speculative. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses: a small market move can cause a large loss, and you can lose all the money in your trading account. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
2. No guarantee of results
Backtests, live statistics and examples shown by Gold AI describe the past or hypothetical situations. Backtests are simulated with assumptions about prices, spreads and execution that may differ from reality. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results, and no strategy wins every month.
3. Risks of automated trading
- Software, server, internet or broker outages can delay or prevent orders, modifications or closes.
- Market gaps (weekends, news, low liquidity) can cause fills far from stop-loss levels, so a loss can exceed the planned risk per trade.
- Slippage, spread widening, swaps and commissions reduce results and may differ between brokers and account types.
- Strategies can go through long losing periods (drawdowns) even when working as designed.
- Your broker may change margin requirements, close positions (stop-out) or reject orders.
4. Your broker
Your funds are held by your broker, not by us. The safety of your funds depends on your broker's regulation, solvency and practices. Choose your broker carefully and read its own terms and risk warnings.
5. Fees
Profit-share fees reduce your net return. With a high-water mark you pay only on new profit, but fees for profitable periods remain due even if later periods lose money.
6. Not advice
Gold AI provides software and does not give personal investment, tax or legal advice. Consider whether trading is suitable for you and seek independent advice if needed. You are responsible for tax on your trading results.
